Summary of activity
Justification - Necessity – Arguments


    The activity was initiated to strengthen and simulation the links  of detainees with community members exposed at risk  of becoming victims or criminals, aiming at determining a constructive behavior, autonomous and responsible in the community, in respect of the prisoners and also prevent and reduce crime and victimization of people in liberty. Community representatives are Association for Intercultural Dialogue and detainees in the program are in Ploiesti prison.
    In order to strengthen and foster a sense of usefulness and enhancing the self , the activity aims to strengthen self-esteem of inmates in the context of  living a depersonalization and decrease confidence in their ability to find solutions to problems facing . People interact with each other and this interaction is essential means of exist the social groups.
    In the context of contemporary society the focus is on developing social skills and accumulation of information from various fields, this having a significant contribution in adapting to life in the community for  people who are separating from their families of origin.
    Activities planned in the program, aimed at informing the participants  on various forms of abuse,  knowledge of aspects of social life, which have an important role in raising awareness and developing a sense of belonging to society.











     This  activity facilitates positive social relationships and an effective way of relieving, the externalization of feelings towards certain conflict situations encountered in life. Some detainees may help to discourage criminal behavior of young people adopted in personality development and develop a pleasant side, positive, humanitarian own personalities and some community representatives can learn directly what implies a life behind bars, where freedom is restricted and where the values ​​you  they knew change the life meaning .

Specific objectives:
 establish authentic communication relations between detainees in prison Ploiesti and  students in  National College "Octav Onicescu" ;
 development of social autonomy;
 identifying the major risk in adolescence;
 shaping personal and interpersonal values ​​according to normative social and criminal;
 combating and prevention of crimes committed;
 social integration - all the social relations between people in prison and in freedom.
 self - knowledge, increased self-esteem of participants and respect for community;
 knowledge of the main types of aggression and abuse;
 awareness of detainees the negative consequences arising from the experience of detention;
 to promote among inmates the crime prevention activity via closed circuit television program.
Operational objectives:
  informing students about the causes and consequences of the offense;
 information on the consequences, personal, familial, vocational, if prisoners continue infractional activity after the liberation.
Direct Beneficiaries:
 a group of detainees, carefully selected,  with communication skills and pro - social tendencies;
 a group of students and teachers of the National College „Octav Onicescu”  - Bucharest.
Indirect Beneficiaries:
 detainees in prison  Ploiesti via closed circuit television;
 high school students via participants in the program and the media.

Program evaluation by prison workers:
 a report of the activity;
 at the end of the meeting the participants will receive a worksheet on content themes, being able to express both positive and negative aspects that were faced during the activity.
